Robust with base plate
This is a robust and cost-effective basin mounted sensor tap and its sensible design means that it is one of our most popular models for use in the Education Sector.
It is a no-nonsense and practical design, with a forward-facing sensor and an added base plate that offers an extra layer of protection to the sensor when standing water around the basin may be an issue. A common scenario in many school bathrooms.
The hygienic 'no touch' operation means that it is highly suitable for use in schools, childcare centres, hospitals, manufacturing and in any public bathroom.
There is no pre-determined duration for the flow of water with any of the Enviro-Tech sensor tap range. The ET2-32 operates on a straightforward principle: place hands near to the sensor, within the sensor zone, to activate the 'water on' feature and remove them to turn it 'water off'. It also benefits from an automatic shut-off mechanism. The tap will deactivate itself after 60 seconds if the sensor happens to be blocked for any reason, significantly reducing the chances of an overflowing bathroom.
This tap can function solely on batteries, making it perfect for settings when connecting to a mains power supply is impractical. This feature is particular advantageous for retrofit in existing bathrooms, allowing you to incorporate hygienic hands-free technology without the need for extensive alterations.
